The town's LGU Website had been hacked January 5, 2010. The site will be brought back to normalcy as soon as the after-effects of the Webmaster's short trip in Pozorrubio for the Awarding Ceremony of the '1st Pozorrubio Essay/Expository Writing Contest' subside. (There are lots of articles, documentations, correspondence, imaging, and web publishing to be made after the event). Meantime, please get information about Pozorrubio from Pozorrubio Online, www.pozorrubio.ph, the private-sector website, which replicates some information published in the LGU website.
The hacking occurred on the day several government websites had been hacked as reported by TV Patrol of ABS-CBN network. It occurred at the height of preparation by the Webmaster for his trip on Jan 7 and for the Awarding Ceremony on Jan 14, 2010. It happened at a time the Awarding Ceremony of the writing contest needs it badly. (It is Murphy's Law at work.)
